Nagtakbuhan sila mula sa lahat ng mga lungsod at nauna pang dumating sa kanila. Kanilang sinabi Ang lugar na ito ay ilang at gumagabi na. 36 Paalisin ninyo ang mga tao upang pumunta sa mga karatig pook at nayon upang makabili sila ng kanilang makakain sapagkat sila ay walang makakain. 37 Subalit sinabi ni Jesus sa kanila Bigyan ninyo sila ng sinabi nila sa kaniya Aalis ba kami at bibili ng halagang dalawang daang denariong tinapay at ipapakain sa kanila? 38 At sinabi niya sa kanila Ilang tinapay mayroon tayo? Lumakad kayo at tingnan kanilang malaman sinabi nila Limang tinapay at dalawang isda. 39 Inutusan sila ni Jesus na paupuin nang pangkat-pangkat sa luntiang damo ang lahat ng mga tao. 40 Kayat sila ay umupo nang pangkat-pangkat na tig-iisangdaan at tiglilimampu. 41 Nang kunin niya ang limang tinapay at dalawang isda, tuminginsiya sa langit at pinagpala niya ito.
